Lush Cosmetic's Reduce, Recycle, Reuse Program

I've already made it clear that I'm a huge Lush Cosmetics fan. In the future when I'm settled into my long term home, I'm going to make it a goal to have my bathroom spell like a Lush Cosmetics store. Once you walk in, you're truly in scent heaven. In addition to their great products, I'm a huge fan of their Reduce, Recycle, and Reuse Program. All of Lush's posts are made with BPA-free 100% post-consumer recycled plastic, and can be reused, recycled or returned to a Lush shop for recycling. The brand cares about your skin AND the environment! When you bring back five empty clean pots to a Lush location, they'll give you a free fresh face mask.

The new fresh face masks I have pictured above, the Rosy Cheeks and Catastrophe Cosmetic are the two I got at no cost for bringing in 10 empty pots. The one thing I will say though is I can never finish the fresh masks before it's 'use-by' date so I would recommend redeeming five at a time. However, don't let that 'use-by' date stop you because I find the mask still fresh a week later.

The Rosy Cheeks mask is blended with kaolin, calamine and Turkish rose oil that delicately calms the skin and restores balance. I typically have rosy cheeks so the name play really got my attention. It smells as if you're diving in a bed of roses and calms the redness from your skin, leaving you matte and smooth. The texture of this mask is more creamy and smooth. The Catastrophe Cosmetic mask came in handy during my last 'time-of-the-month' because I was under a decent amount of stress between work/life. The mask doesn't look as appetizing it with being pale grey but I'm telling you, it leaves your skin feeling like butter! The texture of this mask is more bumpy compared to Rosy Cheeks. I'm a huge fan of this mask and it makes me feel as satisfied as the more luxurious stuff I get from department stores.

Lush Cosmetics Face masks will cost you between $8-13 each so it's a steal! Also, if you have at least five pots to recycle (which isn't that difficult to do since I'm a Lush addict), you can get these babies for f-r-e-e! I truly appreciate this brand for doing the environment good, all while rewarding customers!
