Sephora's VIB Rouge Sale Haul!

The Sephora VIB Rouge sale is one of my most favorite times in the year so I'm excited to share my haul with you guys. I know the sale always happen sometime in April so I spend the ending of March preparing for it. It may seem like I take it too seriously but let's be honest, Sephora sales only happens twice a year (next time is in November/December). The weeks leading up to the sale, I go crazy with getting samples from Sephora and doing my research on what's currently hot that I don't own. I haven't dug into a lot of the stuff yet so this post will be the logic behind my purchasing decisions.

(There is no particular order of the purchases)-

NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer: I've probably gone through 8+ of these concealers in the color Custard and because I go through them pretty quickly, I decided to stock up with two extra. The $30 price point is a tad high but it does wonders for my eye bags so I enjoy stocking up on the rare occasion of sales. There's a blog post on it here if you want to read more.

Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Sanctuary: The website describes the color as 'nude coffee' and I haven't tried it on my lips yet but the color is divine and looked very distinct in pictures compared to the rest of the lip colors I own. We all know Kat Von D's Liquid Lipsticks have crazy lasting power so I won't go into details on that.

SUNDAY RILEY Good Genes All-In-One Lactic Acid Treatment: I can confidently say this little guy was the SAVIOR to my hyperpigmentation and acne breakout problems. It's expensive as hell and trust me, I had to go through a good amount of samples before I could justify buying the full size but this stuff turned my skin around and I am so much more confident now and is more willing to make no makeup days. I opted for the 1.7 oz since it's valued at $175 and goes for $158 - you might as well if you're a fan of the stuff. There is a recent blog post here, where you can read all about it.

SEPHORA COLLECTION PRO Contour Brush #79: I previously owned this brush and is almost positive I lost it at airport during my last trip home to Hawaii *rolls eyes* I was so upset because it's my to-go everyday blush/contour brush and I was so lost without it. However, since it's priced at $34, I waited until the sale to repurchase it. It's an amazing brush and doesn't shed. Blending my contour and blush has never been easier and I am so happy to have it again.

MAKE UP FOR EVER Ultra HD Invisible Cover Foundation in Y345: I've always had my eye on the foundation since it's a holy grail of a lot of the bloggers I follow but I never had a reason to buy it since I have a ton of foundation from a variety of brands that I already love. However, it has been a while since I tried a new foundation out so I got a few samples of this and was satisfied with how it lasted on my long work days. The coverage is medium but it's totally buildable to your liking.

MAKE UP FOR EVER Duo Mat Powder Foundation in 203: I'm not a keen powder foundation girl, the only power foundation I own is a MAC one that I should really discard as it's gotta be 4+ years old at this point at collecting dust. I don't have the greatest skin, which is why I'm big on liquid foundation but since I've been seeing drastic results from SUNDAY RILEY Good Genes Treatment, I thought maybe it's time to add a powder into my lineup. I did a ton of research to find the perfect mattifying power with a decent coverage and landed on this one. I haven't tried it out yet but stay tuned for a review soon.

MAKE UP FOR EVER Full Cover Concealer in 10: I used to use this concealer frequently to cover my acne because it's very high coverage but I ended up not repurchasing after running out since my acne was clearing up. I bought a second tube of this guy because I plan to pair it with MUFE Duo Mat Powder Foundation and use the concealer to cover the minor hyperpigmentation I have left.

Huda Beauty Liquid Matte Lipstick in Muse: Huda Beauty is a influencer that turned into a beauty company and I have utmost respect for Sephora when they curate these type of brands to sell. The color is described as an elegant muted rose and it's a shade pink I don't currently have. I'm not the biggest fan of pink lips so it takes a really unique pink shade for me to go for it. I'm finding myself reaching for the color pretty frequently and I love that it's matte, long lasting, and not as drying on the lips compared to the rest of the liquid lipsticks I have in the stash.

Grande Cosmetics GrandeLASH™ - MD Lash Enhancing Serum: Bloggers everywhere are raving about this lash growing serum so I was ecstatic when Sephora picked it up to sell! The before and after pictures I've seen are insane and I enjoy that it's not a prescription. I've toyed with the idea of Latise but I the side effects were enough to scare me off. You guys already know my lashes basically don't exist so I can't wait to try this out!

Dior Diorskin Nude Air Luminizer Powder: This was truly a splurge as I have way more highlighters that I could possibly go through. However, when I swatched this one in store, it was really love at first site. The pink highlight gave such a beautiful glow and it was buttery soft. It's the most expensive highlighter I own thus far and will likely use it sparingly.

If you've made it this far into my post, congrats and thank you for sticking with me to the end. If there are any products you guys picked up during the sale that I haven't ranted on about yet, holla at me!
