Mad Love for Sheet Masks!

This post isn't for a specific sheet masks but rather a rant on why I think all skincare obsessed gals should have a healthy amount in their stash at all times. My beauty obsessed mom started me off with sheet masks in my pre-teen years because I didn't have the attention span to do all the multiple steps at that young age. On days when I'm feeling lazy or extra tired from a busy day of work, I enjoy whipping out one of these babies for a quick fix. Sheet masks have gained a lot of popularity over the last few years and the formulas in them have really improved. Nowadays, you can find a mask for almost anything - detoxing, moisture, acne, clogged pores, etc.

Sheet masks can be purchased at all beauty stores nowadays and the ones pictured above are mostly Korean Beauty brands that I picked up in Asia. The Face Shop actually has really cute animal ones too (dogs, pigs, pandas, etc.) On my lazy days, I pop one of these out and leave it on for 30-45 minutes. After I remove the mask, I like to do a gentle pat around my face to make sure every last drop absorbs in.

The last mask I want to point out is the SKII Facial Treatment Mask above - I haven't brought myself to use it yet because it's so pricey ($17 for one) but my Grandma swears by it (and has very minimal wrinkles for a woman in her 80's). She gave me one and I'm waiting for a special occasion to happen before digging into a $17 mask.

If there are more masks you recommend and love, please leave a comment below and I'll check it out!
