REN ClearCalm 3 Clarifying Clay Cleanser: I LOVED this cleanser and really liked the milky texture the clay provided. This lasted me a good couple of months due to the 33% extra value size. I have adult acne prone skin and this cleanser helped to prevent future breakouts. The ingredient, salicilin gently exfoliates to help unclog your skin. This one will be a future repurchase for sure but at the moment, I'm trying to use up my current cleanser line up before they expire.
Origins Checks and Balances™ Frothy Face Wash: This was one of my first cleansers I used in my pre-teen days that my mom recommended so I decided to revisit it again. The scent of the cleanser is a mint-lavender mixture and it's absolutely lavishing. This is a cleanser to help balance combo skin (dry/oily) and your skin will feel refreshed upon cleansing. I do recommend this for those battling combo skin!
Bliss Pore Perfecting Facial Polish: I picked up this exfoliator at Marshall's because it sounded promising and I believe it was just $10. It wasn't a disappointing product or one that I was over the moon about. It was your basic exfoliator and I almost always finish the product I purchase because once I buy it, I am 110% committed. This one I don't plan on repurchasing but I know Bliss has other amazing products!
PanOxyl Acne Foaming Wash: There was a point in time maybe a year ago where my skin went off the rail and I was breaking out like crazy. (This also happens when I travel to Hong Kong.) It got so bad that it was cystic acne at one point. I talked to a Sephora employee to recommend me some extreme products but she actually pointed my way to a drugstore that that was Panoxyl. This dried my skin out to the point where I started peeling/flaking but that's normal because it dries out the acne to heal it. It's about $10 depending on where you go (Target, Walgreens, CVS) and works miracles when your skin decides to freak out. It has 10% Benzoyl Peroxide, the highest amount you can get without a prescription. I finished the cleanser and repurchased because it's good to keep one on hand for emergencies. This cleanser doesn't get the attention it deserves!
Murad Clarifying Cleanser: This cleanser is my #1 holy grail. I have a blog post dedicated to it, which you can read more about here. I'm not going to restate the details again but just know I'm probably on my 5th bottle now and always have an extra on hand at any given time. This cleanser has done wonders to prevent blemishes on my acne prone skin. There is also a sample size I finished of the cleanser.
Kate Somerville EradiKate™ Acne Treatment: This is also another one of my holy grails and I'm currently on my third bottle. I also won't go into the details because there is a blog post dedicated here. Just know when you see a lil nightmare forming on your face, get a q-tip, dip it into the bottle, and apply to the troubled spot and it'll either 90%-completely gone in the morning. I'm OBSESSED with this spot treatment- best I ever had! Caudalie Instant Detox Mask:This mask is also another holy grail, which I've since repurchased. The empty one was my first and it was introduced to me by the founder herself- check out the blog post. There is another post dedicated to why I love the mask so much so check it out here. It truly detoxes your skin and you'll feel as if you're fresh out of a spa treatment!
Boscia Luminizing Black Mask: This one I also love SO MUCH! It's looking like the bottom half of this post is all my holy grails lol. Anyways, there is also a post dedicated to this mask that you can read more about here. I have a weird enjoyment in seeing the stuff come out of a nose strip and this peel-off mask is the same concept but for your entire face. I know it's gross but I have a strange fascination for it *shrugs*.
Boscia MakeUp-BreakUp Cool Cleansing Oil: This is the second bottle of the cleansing oil and yes, there is a blog post dedicated to it as well - *click. As much as I did love this oil cleanser, I'm going to take a short hiatus from it because I have a TON of oil cleansers I need to get through before they expire. It does a great job in melting the makeup from your skin.
Mario Badescu Glycolic Acid Toner: Clearly I'm a huge fan because there are two finished bottles in a single post haha. Glycolic Acid is an ingredient that helps decrease acne breakouts and I realized I didn't have it anywhere in my skin regimen so I incorporated this toner in for a year. The toner is a bright sky blue color and doesn't have a strong scent. I haven't repurchased yet because I have a ton of toners I'm trying to get through but I will once it's time for me to replenish.
*Phew! Thanks for bearing with me to the end of this post. As soon as I hit publish, these used bottles are going straight into the trash.
