January Play! by Sephora

I skipped December's Play! by Sephora box review because I was in Hawaii so here is January. We'll get right into my first thoughts as I've already said 100 times how much I prefer this subscription box above all.

I recently cut off a good amount of the length from my hair since it was pretty damaged but that doesn't mean I can't use a bomb hair mask, specifically the Ouai Treatment Masque. I haven't tried it yet but I heard nothing but good things from this brand so I'm excited. Next is the Amore Pacific Color Control Cushion Compact Broad Spectrum SPF 50+. I bought my first cushion compact in Hong Kong and have been using it under my foundation and I'm not 100% sure how I feel about it yet. Maybe what I need to is try a second brand so I'm very curious about this lil guy. I'm all about new skincare products and brands so I was excited for the Kale + Spinach + Hyaluronic Acid Age Prevention Cream by Youth To The People. The cream is packed with healthy green superfoods that I personally wouldn't eat myself (I hate kale) but that doesn't mean my skin shouldn't have any lol. This will especially be great for the winter season we're currently in. Next is the scent Love Relentlessly by Tory Burch. Month after month, I always touch on how I'd much rather trade the perfume sample for another skincare product so I'll just leave it at that.
The last two items are my favorite of the bunch. I didn't realize Tarte was expanding their skincare line so I'm really excited for this FRXXXTION Stick Exfoliating Cleanser. Even the full size is small and convenient enough for you to take around on vacations, weekend trips, etc. It's three-in-one exfoliator, cleanser, and face mask all in a portable stick - frickin genius! I'm stoked to try this guy out because it has amazing reviews online. The last of my January bunch is the classic Clinique Almost Lipstick in Black Honey. I've heard from folks of my mom's generation that this ultra thin lipstick is a classic. I'm personally not a huge fan of thin lipsticks because I'm all about pigmentation so this was a great opportunity for me to try it. Plus the sample size is so generous, it'll probably last my a while! This lip product will be great for my no-makeup look days.

Play by Sephora has yet to disappoint so I recommend putting yourself on that waiting list asap!
