September's Play! by Sephora Review

This post is behind a month since we're already trickling into November and I also have my October Play! by Sephora chilling on my desk. However, I really wanted to share with you guys that this is month three of my subscription and I am still really happy with the service. I am also VERY obsessed with the artwork on this month's bag because lipstick is my all around most favorite makeup product.

Below are the products in my September Box:

Anastasia Beverly Hills Clear Brow Gel: I've already gone through 5+ full sized tubes of this product so I don't mind getting a travel sized one to take on the go. This clear eyebrow setting gel is the best I've ever used to I appreciate that Sephora doesn't send leftover lame products like other beauty subscription boxes. The fact that they are high quality products is the reason why I appreciate this service over the rest.

SEPHORA COLLECTION Rouge Shine Lipstick in Love Spell: I personally could've gone without this lipstick but that's because my personal preference are matte lipsticks. However, this is still a beautiful color and up my Mom's alley so I plan to pass this along to her when I'm home for the holidays.

Kat Von D's Tattoo Liner: I am 100% loyal to Stila's Liquid Eyeliner but that doesn't mean I'm not open to new products. For months, I've heard Kat Von D's eyeliner was just as long lasting so I was really stoked to see this sample in my box! I'm happy to report that both are interchangeable so I wouldn't mind trading in my Stila liner for a Kat Von D next time I'm out. And again, this is the point of subscription boxes - it gives you an opportunity to try new things at a decent sample size so you can determine if you're interested in the full sized product.

Ole Henriksen's Sheer Transformation: I previously reviewed this product here! It's a great moisturizer to help with dark spots (something I battle furiously with) so again, it's great to get a travel sized one that I can take on the go.

Living Proof's Perfect Hair Day Night Cap Overnight Perfector: This is my first Living Proof product so I'm excited to try this out! If you follow me on Instagram (@sillaaa), you'll know I recently went blonde again since my hair grew out so much from my last session in the beginning of the year. You can apply it on your hair dry or wet evenly in your hair but because I have SO much hair, I focused on the ends since that is where most of my damage is. I saw a HUGE difference in the morning where the hair was a lot softer and less frizzy. However, I'm still on the fence of buying the full sized only because a full size wouldn't last me too long lol.

Atelier Cologne's Sud Magnolia:If I had one complaint, it would be that Sephora could possible stop including perfume samples in the subscriptions every month. I probably have 100+ of these lil guys laying around my apartment but I get why they do it because it's easy. This fragrance is a Sephora exclusive and has a light floral scent, without it being too overpowering.

Like I said, the October box is staring at my as I type so that will be reviewed soon as well. Keep an eye out for that!
