October's Play! by Sephora - Another Win!

Lipstick & Chill. Let me start by saying this should be everyone's mantra lol.

I won't go into the nitty gritty because you guys already know how much I love the
Play! by Sephora monthly subscription.

Below are the products in my October Box:

Christophe Robin's Regenerating Mask with Rare Prickly Pear Seed Oil: This 'sample size is beyond generous! This hair mask couldn't have come at a more perfect time since I just finished frying my hair by going blonde. You start your nightly hair routine with conditioner first and then shampoo. The reason being is the oil will team up together to clean your hair vs regular shampoo. Afterwards, you use the shampoo to rinse out the conditioner and finally comes the final hair mask step. The antioxidant rich formula is creamy and thick and it helps to strengthen/shine damaged hair. Massage is throughly into your scalp and ends and rinse. This 'sample' will last me a while but I would def consider getting the full bottle. The full size is about $9/ounce and this sample was 1.7 oz so this product alone was the price of my subscription!

The Estée Edit Flash Photo Gloss: I almost never wear lip glosses because I'm pro-matte. However, this gave me an opportunity to go outside of my comfort zone and the 'sample size' was also very generous. What's unique about this lip gloss is it has a blue undertone that makes your teeth look whiter - aka perfect for your selfies. The color blue sits at the opposite of orange on a color wheel so this gloss will help cancel out all your coffee stains. Like I said, I'm not the biggest fan of glosses but this one is indeed an exception.

Erborian's Bamboo Crème Frappée Skin Reviving Fresh Gel: This is a makeup base/moisturizer but I personally would still prefer to use a primer so I consider this as just a moisturizer. You unfortunately can't see it as well in the sample compared to the full sized jar but this formula is whipped with a frosty gel-cream texture that absorbs quickly and has a refreshing effect on your skin. The ingredients combine bamboo sap and fibers to help hydrate skin and lock in moisture. Also a fan and would consider buying once I'm out on my current moisturizer.

Smashbox's Always On Matte Liquid Lipstick: This is my favorite product out of the bunch because 1. it's a matte lipstick (my fave product) and 2. it's a liquid lipstick I've been dying to sample! Smashbox released their own line of liquid matte lipsticks and I heard all great things but I was on a Sephora ban from buying too many lipsticks. The color I had my eyes on was Chill Zone (Deep, Cool Grey) but the color in the box was Driver's Seat, which is a Warm Pink. The brush of the sample is the same as the full sized so you get the full experience! The color is very pretty, lasts through meals, not drying, and most importantly, it doesn't transfer!

Farmacy Skin Dew Hydrating Essence Mist: I love any type of skin essences in general so I was happy to get one that I haven't tried yet. The formula is filled with essential oils, rosemary, and peppermint. The result is a soothing scent that relaxes you when sprayed. It can be either used as a toner or a makeup refresher!

Yves Saint Laurent's Mon Paris: Another perfume sample... *sighs* Month after month, I will always prefer another skincare or makeup product but I do get why they include on every month. This one I wasn't the biggest fan of because it was a little too sweet/fruity for my preference. This one I'll probably hand off to a friend or mom.

I'm excited to get the November box, which I'm sure will be in a few days. I got a preview email that says it'll be about your winter glow so hopefully it'll be a new highlighter!
