The Greater Goods!

Growing up in Hawaii taught me to always 'support local'. I am all about small local businesses trying to do their thing in the corporate world we live in. I'm all about local fairs and buying cool products that are made locally by local people. With that, I went to a local Etsy fair a couple of months ago and discovered this handmade soap shop called The Greater Goods that originated in Brooklyn and made their way to San Francisco. Every single soap basically takes you scent heaven so I had a HARD time selecting which to take home with me. Most of them will run you $14 each and it is on the pricier side but I think it's worth it given how it relaxes you after a long day.
The soap I ended up going with was the Clove and Fir Soap. It's a Brazilian clay bar has a deep woodsy scent, spiced with clove, perfect for the upcoming Fall season. The ingredients consists of Organic Coconut Oil, Organic Olive Oil, Sustainably Sourced Palm Oil, Water, Lye, Organic Cocoa Butter, Organic Castor Oil, Purple Brazilian Clay, Dead Sea Salt, Essential Oils of Clove, Fir Needle and Lavender. In summary, all natural and things you can recognize. I've been using this for two straight weeks now and it's great on my skin and smells SO GOOD and relaxing after a long day of work.

You can purchase their soaps online or check here for any nearby locations and I totally recommend that you at least try out one to start since they are amazing.
