First Impressions: The Estée Edit!

I am SO excited to review this generous package of Estée Edit products! The Estée Edit is a new line of makeup and skincare products from Estée Lauder that targets the younger millennial generation. Estée Lauder tends to be perceives as 'your mother's makeup' but when they added Kendall Jenner to their line of brand ambassadors last year, it gave the brand a face lift, targeting a new generation of users. The Estée Edit is a 'cool and hip' brand with it's colorful line of products, eye-catching packaging, and of course, the face of Kendall Jenner.
The first one up for review is the Radiance Activator Treat + Prep + Glow. This is a 3-in-1 serum for instant, visible glow with long-term brightening and hydration for all skin types. I have been using it twice a day after I apply moisturizer to help with uneven skin texture and dullness. The serum gives you an instant glow and preps your skin for makeup application. The formula is packed with vitamin E and plant extracts including pink peony and sea lavender so it the scent alone is to die for. I love getting a whiff of the serum before applying. It has a hefty price tag of $55 but it's worth every penny in my opinion.
The next product is the Late Night Eraser Brightening Eye Balm with Pink Peony. I feel like to the everyday person, eye creams aren't a priority but what folks don't realize is the skin is much thinner around the eyes and maintenance will help with long term health of the eyes. This tube of eye cream is small and easy to take with you to travel, even though its a full size. I apply it to the skin around my eyes - once in the morning before makeup application and the second is right before bed. I've tried a good amount of eye creams and this one is by far my favorite! It smells like peonies, which is so magical and it honestly just makes me so happy. The formulas has pink peony, cucumber, apple, hyaluronic acid, and micro-powdered pearls that refreshes you in the morning and relaxes you before bed.
The second to the last product is the Inside Track Eye Kajal in the color Bold Bordeaux/Urban Nude. I really enjoy my sleep so I tend to wait until the very last minute before getting up to start the day. I don't have much time in the morning for makeup application so what love about this eye pencil is you can perfectly do smudgy, sexyl, slept-in eye makeup look with this dual ended pencil. It is really creamy and pigmented so the application is an easy one-two step. The formula is very blendable for a smokey eye and easy to smudge with your fingers.
The last one is the Metallishadow Crème + Powder in AquaNova. This product doubles as a cream and power eye shadow. The shadows are very creamy, bendable, and SO pigmented. You'll get a very intense color with one stroke. The colors compliment each other perfectly and the green is a little out of my comfort zone so it was a great product to try!

I'm a huge fan of Estée Edit products and it's definitely high on my radar whenever I'm browsing through a Sephora. I really appreciate how the brand excels in both skincare and makeup because most of the time, it's either or. The scents and formula on the skincare products are to die for and the colors of their makeup are so distinct.

What are you favorite Estée Edit products? I'd love to hear about them!
