First Impressions: My First Play! by Sephora Box
Sephora is my favorite makeup retail store as almost nothing can disappoint. Since all the products in their subscription are decent sized samples of items they sell in store, it gives me an opportunity to try new items or get travel sized items of the stuff I already love and use. The products are similar to the stuff you get when redeeming 100-500 beauty rewards points at Sephora. Play! by Sephora is $10 a month and is totally worth the price! This was my first box and I'm 110% satisfied and don't foresee any disappointment for the month of August. Another cool feature of the box is you can go online to read/watch videos and get tips on each item - click here for July.
Beauty Blender's Blottrazzi: The material is similar to the Beauty Blender and I've been loving this since I do get oily throughout the day! It's an alternative to the traditional oil blotters and is washable/reusable.
Nest's Citrine: I was nervous of this having a strong orange scent as I am not a fan of that but this fragrance actually smells amazing so this little guy has been traveling in my purse. It has a lotus flower scent and hints of precious woods.
QUAI's Wave Spray: I've heard nothing but positive things about this brand so I was SO excited to get this sample in my box. The Wave Spray is weightless mist that helps to bring out natural curls or is a volume booster when used in the roots. I hav flat and straight Asian hair so this product has been doing me wonders!
First Aid Beauty's Face Cleanser: This is another product I own and love so this will also be perfect for traveling. I am a sample hoarder because it's perfect to take on short trips and you can discard them before heading home.
Benefit Costmetic's Dew the Hoola Soft Matte Liquid Bronzer: Hoola is one of my holy grail bronzers and there was so much hype in the beginning of summer over their liquid bronzer launch but I never got around to trying it. This is the very reason why I love this subscription - you get items that you actually want to try. I personally prefer Hoola in powder form but this was great for a tanned glow.
Smashbox Photo Finish Primer: I'm already a huge fan of this primer and use it on a daily basis so this travel sized one will be perfect for any upcoming trips.
Is anyone else subscribed to Play! by Sephora? I'd love to hear your thoughts, whether they're positive/negative!
