Knee High Boots

While I was in Hawaii, my blog went on a little hiatus but now I'm back! I had a great time being home for the holidays and I was able to take a good amount of photos this time around so a blog post will be coming soon. I was in beautiful 80 degree weather so being back in San Francisco does have some downsides as I was in paradise for so long. However, just because we're in the winter season,it doesn't necessarily mean skirts need to retire, granted don't live in an area that snows. I bought this skirt in Hong Kong and letting it collect dust until the summer felt wrong so it was nothing a pair of knee high boots couldn't fix. Under the boots are also knee-high socks to ensure my warmth because I am still a weakling to the cold since I grew up in paradise.

The parka is from Zara that I picked up while in Hong Kong, the turtleneck is from H&M's basic collection, and the boots are from Nordstrom - all previous purchases that make it's way out in the Winter. I have been wearing this parka from Zara also everyday as it is the thickest and warmest piece of outerwear I own. It keeps me so warm and the amount of pockets it has inside and out is also a huge convenient that I love so much. The boots have also been my go-to when I choose something other than jeans to wear so I highly recommend grabbing a pair so your skirts and shorts don't have to entirely retire this season.

I'm excited to have a lot more of these winter outfit posts coming down the pipeline in the upcoming weeks!

  2. I love that parka, it looks so warm and cosy on the inside. That lipstick looks lovely on you too!
