Long and Luscious Lashes with Marc Jacobs Beauty!

Hiiiiii you guys! My posts have been and will be lagging for a little while since I'm back home in Hawaii for the holidays. I'm trying to soak up as much sun as I can before returning to San Francisco's icy cold weather.

Anyways... as you guys already know, I have those typical straight, short, and depressing Asian eyelashes so false eyelashes are a must. However, wearing them on a daily basis is a little too much effort for me, especially since I tend to wake up an hour before I need to leave the apartment for work. with that said, all hail Marc Jacob's Velvet Noir Major Volume Mascara! Marc Jacobs recently released a new mascara to their beauty line that is exclusive to Sephora stores. Velvet Noir was inspired by Marc Jacobs’s first beauty memory of his mother who carefully shaved fibers from a velvet ribbon to create her own couture faux lashes. How fierce of her right?

Anyways, I'm very picky with mascaras because I basically need a miracle just to have noticeable lashes. For my current routine, I use a coat of Benefit Cosmetics's They're Real for length, followed by a coat of TooFaced's Better Than Sex Mascara for volume. I find Marc Jacob's mascara to be a combination of both, giving me length and volume. The formula is smooth and applies to my lashes smoothly without clumping out. It's reasonably priced at $26, given Marc Jacobs is a higher end brand. We all know important eyes are and of course, the mascara has no parabens, sulfates, or phthalates. The mascara makes such a huge difference on my lashes and has officially become my mascara of choice.

If you guys are in the market for a new mascara, I'd defiantly check this baby out!
