Last week, San Francisco was experiencing 80-85 degree weather for the first time all year so I thought it'd be the perfect opportunity to expose my new kicks to sunlight. I've been wanting all white Nike Air Max shoes for a while now but it was so hard to find them in my size. A few weeks ago I copped them at my local Finishline but haven't had the guts to where the shoes out until now. I've linked the children's size shoe because the adult size is currently not online.
I was able to bring out some skin-baring clothes out of retirement such as my grey halter top paired with white shorts. Next, my hair went into braids because I could not stand the heat. The thing about SF is it's only hot 5/365 days a year so there isn't a need to own an AC or fan. However during those 5 days, we unfortunately sweat our butts off.
Overall, the look came together great and it was nice to retire the jackets and long sleeves for a few days. However, I was so tired of the heat I actually paid for cold air and watched Straight Outta Compton in the theaters that day, which was such a great movie!
Lastly, my trusty Daniel Wellington watch tied the outfit up altogether because it's subtle enough to add to any outfit. All in all, I'm so happy to have finally gotten my hands on the all white Air Max shoes and I can't wait to pair them with different looks.
How do you guys feel about all white kicks? I'd love to hear your thoughts because I have a love/hate relationship with them -it's truly a beautiful and big statement of a shoe but the maintenance of them is no joke.
