A Few Days Spent in Hawaii!

Hi everyone! This is the longest hiatus I've taken from blogging but I swear I had a good reason for it. As you know, last week was my birthday but I was crazy busy with work, errands, chores, and an endless to-do list because I had a surprise quick trip home to Hawaii (best present ever by the way from the boo thang,) flying out the day after my birthday. Nonetheless, I'm back in San Francisco and the blogging schedule will resume as normal once I settle down (I'm usually homesick, sad, and mope around for the first initial days of being back.)
Where are pictures from my trip!? Check Instagram! I brought my camera and had 110% intentions of documenting my trip home but I got lazy and was too busy having having fun... *sighs. I used up almost all hours of the day, sleeping only about 3-4 hours a night because I took no minute for granted. I was so happy to be reunited with my family and friends because I originally had no plans of going home this summer. My parents had no idea I was coming home lol, which was amazing! I went straight to my dad's office from the airport, popped into his office, and he was like "WHAT IN THE HELL ARE YOU DOING HERE!?" Then off to surprising my momma bear at work and she basically had the same reaction.

Hawaii holds one of the biggest parts of my heart and is very dear to me. Growing up, I hated being "stuck on the rock" but as I've grown older, I am so grateful to be able to call this place of paradise my home.

  2. !!! I completely know what you mean. I'm from O'ahu as well, and now I go to school across (or out of) the country (if I study abroad). Being back home this summer.. Helps me remember why I love this place so much. It's quite unlike anywhere else, but in a good way. So happy you were able to come home! :')
