Batiste. Because I went blonde a few months ago, my hair dresser actually suggested I only wash my hair every 2-3 days to maintain the color but to be honest, I couldn't keep up with it. I'm somebody that has to have their hair washed every night or else I can't fall asleep because of how oily it gets. Even if I just stay in bed and Neflixed an entire Saturday away, my hair will be as oily as if I spent the day outdoors. I remember this one time, a Sephora artist rocking the current silver trend hair color told me she washed her hair once every five days and I was thinking girrrrl, you have some true dedication. The longest I can truly go without washing my hair is a day but I'll need my Batiste Dry Shampoo at an arm's length.
You'll see the white residue when first sprayed but I promise after a few minutes, it'll go away. The formula is really lightweight so you don't have to worry about getting additional grease being added into your hair. Spray it on about 5-6 inches away and be sure to get the insides of your roots. After that, fluff/brush your hair out and you'll feel good as new! Batiste is my holy grail because of it's price point (~$7) and the variety it comes in. You can choose from a variety of scents such as original, floral & flirty, tropical, and cool & crisp fresh just to name a few. In addition, some formulas are made specifically for the color of your hair so it'll be tinted blonde or brunette, instead of the possibility of white residue, but I swear it goes away. The tinted options are perfect for those who may still be skeptical.
I'm 110% loyal to Batiste but if anyone has another favorite dry shampoo, I'd love to hear your thoughts!
