So let's start with eye products. The two palettes I picked up was Urban Decay’s Naked 2 Palette and Tarte’s Tartelette. Believe it or not, previous to this sale, I did not own a Naked Palette so it was about time I jumped on the bandwagon. In addition, I had my eyes on the Tartelette palette for a while because I loved how al the colors were matte. I knew down the road I was going to eventually buy it so I thought why not now with the sale. I also picked up a UD Moondust eyeshadow in Cosmic because it was love and first swatch. The glitter payoff was amazing. Oh and the UD Primer I mentioned earlier! I’ve come to looove Sephora brushes so I picked up two eyeshadow brushes. I prefer the natural bristles over synthetic because they last much longer.
Shocking but the color lipstick I grabbed was Marc Jacob’s J’adore. Currently, I’m not in the market for a specific color but this brown toned one really stood out to me. Face products- Hourglass’ Immaculate, which I’ve already talked about. Urban Decay’s Naked Foundation in 6.0. Even though Hourglass is my #1, I was looking for one with lighter but still build-able coverage. Heard great things so let’s see how this goes. Next, I heard so much about Becca’s highlighters so I went ahead and picked up Moonstone. A few weeks back, I sampled MUFE’s full coverage concealer and was immediately convinced. I’m currently battling hyper-pigmentation and this is great at concealing it over foundation.
Now onto skincare products. My Grandma has been using SK-II's Essence for as long as she can remember and swears by it so I decided to try it out. However, I could not pull the trigger to get the full sized bottle since it's so expensive. The smallest bottle for purchase (2.5 oz) was already $105. I'll test it out and see if it works magic as my Grandma claims. Next off, I have been searching high and low for a new facial sunscreen and finally chose one. I'm picky with sunscreen because 1. I hate the smell of sunscreen 2. there are so many complicating ingredients 3. I'm afraid a thick sunscreen will clog my acne-prone skin. Supergoop's SPF 30 city sunscreen is an anti-aging serum so it's thin and perfect for acne-prone skin. In addition, it doubles as a moisturizer so you skin will be hydrated throughout the day.

*Whew that was a doozy. If you’ve made it this far, I appreciate you so much for reading! I’d love to hear about products you guys picked-up during the sale because it’s never too early to start creating a list for the next one.
In Brisbane we don't have anywhere that sells Tarte Cosmetics and it breaks my heart! I want to try that palette so badly.
