This year, I did not participate in any physical Black Friday shopping because I feel like I'm getting too old to stay up all night to shop. Instead, I waited until midnight and did all my shopping online.
Let's start with the Ulta purchase. The entire Mario Badescu and Real Technique line was 20% off so I copped a few items I had my eyes on. After recently getting over a intense breakout, I was left with a few acne scars so I wanted to try Mario Badescu's Whitening Mask. I also picked up their Gylcolic Acid Toner because a Sephora employee recommended it to me a few weeks back for my oily skin.
Next, Real Technique's Expert Face Brush. This brush actually caught my eye because it seemed like the perfect blush brush, which is what I was in the market for. Real Technique brushes are reasonably priced (originally $8.99,) soft, and hasn't shed on me yet. This brush allows for a lot of control applying blush, which was exactly what I was looking for.
Onto Sephora. Sephora was having $10 deals so I picked up three items and I'm glad I swept it up fast because it was sold out in minutes. The Boscia set was a must. I already own the full sized version of their Luminizing Black Mask but I love it so much, having a travel size on hand for future vacations wouldn't hurt. It also came with their Black Charcoal Blotting Linens to absorb oil on-the-go.
Second pickup, First Aid Beauty's Face Cleanser and Ultra Repair Cream duo. I was really excited when I saw this deal because I don't have dry skin so it wasn't necessary for me to purchase a full size version of the repair cream but I did want to have some on hand for the days I got too excited exfoliating. I am also a cleanser junkie so this gave me another opportunity to add one more to the collection.
Lastly, the Art of Shaving Kit. This one I obviously can't review but I picked it up because it can serve for a perfect guy's gift during the upcoming holidays.
